Happy New Month!

A Governor in hot soup

As one of the world's online gurus, Mark Zukerberg, founder of "facebook" catches fun with Nigerians,
A governor....i mean MAYOR  (in British Parlance) has been

LIVE SEX on the LAWN

The rate at which men and women are crazy about sex, is now more than ever, very alarm. Read the following report:
Lauren Dua, 24, took her brother Lewis Overell, 20, and 14-year-old sister Libby to play popular game, Pokemon Go, at Blackheath Common in South London but were met with the 'rudest' shock of their lives as they stumbled on a man having sex WITH A COMPLETELY NAKED WOMAN on the lawn. And despite being aware that they were being watched, the couple continued the lewd act regardless.

Lauren said:
“We were just walking across Blackheath Common when my brother said ‘Is that women naked over there?’ and I thought he was joking but then my sister said the same thing. So I went over to have a look and could not believe that they were right and by that point a few people had gathered around still playing Pokemon and they were putting on quite a show. The couple really did not seem to be

Latest on NGER-DELTA AVENGERS

As the Nigeria Military forges ahead with its latest "OPERATION CROCODILE SMILE" in the creeks, meant to destabilize the activities of militants groups in the Niger-Delta, THE AVENGERS have written an open letter to the President on the matter.  The militant groups in its open letter, allege that the military formation is part of a pre-determined genocide to be carried out in the Niger Delta region. The group says President Buhari's statement in Kenya over the weekend that they should come forward for negotiation or be treated as Boko Haram members, gives credence to the allegations of pre-determined genocide. Read some of the excerpts of the letter, signed by the group's spokesperson,  Brig.Gen Mudoch Agbinibo, below...

"We call on President Muhammadu Buhari to put away the garb of a stooge to the imperialists, whenever he speaks outside Nigeria. We have listened carefully and halted hostilities in the Niger Delta; we expect a genuine and positive attitude to restructuring and self-determination for every component unit of Nigeria. Dear president, what makes those countries (Japan, Germany, France, USA, Britain etc.) great is the ability of their governments to accommodate internal protestations and conflicts for the greater good of their nations over the years. Please stop presenting your government as pawn to the web of military industrialists complex, whenever you leave the shores of Nigeria.
Nigeria is not a one-man personal property we must have these talks every time if this union must continue to work as one. The people of the Niger Delta have been living here from time immemorial, so we have the secret of the terrain and survival of amphibious operations. No amount of troop surge and simulation exercises will make you win the oil war, you can only win battles.

You cannot apply the might of the state to restore the people's confidence in your leadership when you cannot differentiate between genuine demands and being mismanaged by disorganized characters and tribal lords around you in your government that are playing the court jesters role as well as counting the days that is left in your four years term. You can deceive the whole world but We cannot be deceived by the so glamorized ongoing military operations in the creeks Of Ijaw communities in the Delta coded " Operation Crocodile Smiles"... the world should know that with your pronouncement in Kenya and your attitude to the military build up in the Niger Delta, it is crystal clear that the military has nothing less than a pre-determined genocide in Niger Delta and burn more already scared national resources to the pockets of those that have failed to locate the missing  Chiboks School Girls.
Conclusively, dear President Muhammadu Buhari please also tell those foreign nations that you are always at ease talking to, while refusing to listen to Nigerians that your troops are about to carrying out extra judicial killings in the Niger Delta in violation of article four of the Geneva Convention with "OPERATION CROCODILE SMILES". All sane minds knows the meaning of " CROCRODILE TEARS" so by code-naming your military operation CROCODILE SMILES only betrays your motives and attitude to the whole world about the Niger Delta question. "

That was the letter bomb just released few hours ago by this group on their website. May the God Lord have mercy the masses. When two elephants fight, it is always the grass that suffers most.

lastest on FULANI HERDSMEN

As another victim last week's deadly unslaught of FULANI HERDSMEN in Enugu State, South-East Nigeria, dies in hospital yesterday, Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State, from the Western part, has sworn into action by breaking the records.
Fayose  today BECAME THE FIRST GOVERNOR IN NIGERIA TO SIGN A LAW PROHIBITING OPEN GRAZING OF CATTLE. The bill is titled " Ekiti state Open Grazing Prohibition Bill". Under the law, herdsmen are prohibited from grazing their cattle in areas that are not designated for grazing and forbidden from carrying arms. The law prescribes six months imprisonment without option of fine for any herdsman who violates the grazing prohibition while any herdsman found with arms will be charged with terrorism.

Reacting to the new development in Ekiti state, Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode wrote,

"I am proud of Gov. Ayo Fayose and the people of Ekiti state for signing into law legislation which bans grazing rights for the Fulani herdsmen in the state and which prevents them from carrying firearms.

By this bold and courageous act Fayose and the Ekiiti State House of Assembly have saved many lives. Every governor in the south and the Middle Belt should find the courage to emulate them and do the same."

It will be recalled that GOVERNOR FAYOSE, Sometime in May this year, met with local hunters in the Oke-Ako area of the state telling them to be battle ready to confront any Fulani herdsman found grazing cattle anywhere in the state.
The governor addressed the hunters hours after he banned cattle grazing in the state in response to the killing of two people by suspected herdsmen.

Strange Women in Soccer

The saying that goes, "What a man can do, a woman can do even better" has brought to limelight the special abilities in the womenfolk to chart their career successfully in MALE-DOMINATED spheres of human endeavor. Seeing the uploaded picture of a fine Nigerian Female Football professional by name, ONOME ABI online JUST THIS AFTERNOON, really got me thinking.
She is super falcons defender who plays in Belarus.

Though not so popular but what ran to my mind was the question you saw above, "HOW FAR CAN A LADY GO IN HER SPORTS CAREER WITHOUT BEING A LESBIAN?"
Why we asked this question is because of one of Nigeria's finest Falcons Player, CHI CHI IGBO who is now a youtube lesbian sensation from all indications. You will not believe this picture below is that of a woman.
WILL YOU ENCOURAGE YOUR SISTER OR DAUGHTER TO GO FULLY INTO A SPORTS CAREER?

latest on Fulani Herdsmen in Enugu State and Bombing in Delta State

Boko Haram, the terror group that has been disturbing the State called Nigeria has been carrying out its attack mostly on the North-Eastern part. But, something stranged happened in Isoko house which is the Secretariat of the Isoko Development Union in Oleh, Delta state.
This house was bombed today by some unknown persons. The bombing happened this morning after the Union members began its annual conference in the facility.
However, somewhere else in Eastern Nigeria, Enugu to be precise, the State Police Command in its resolve towards unmasking those behind the dastardly act perpetrated at Ndiagu Attakwu community of Akegbeugwu in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu state in the early hours of 25/8/16 which left one person dead and four others critically injured, have nabbed a suspect identified as one Umaru Isah from Gusau Zamfara state on 25/8/16 over his alleged involvement in the incident. His arrest came through intelligence information gathered.

latest on FULANI HERDSMEN

Fulani Herdsmen have remained in the news even when we thought we have heard the last of their dastardly acts. At the early hours of Thursday, the news broke out that there has been another attack in Enugu State.

A visibly angry Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State visits Ndiagu Attakwu community in Akegbe Ugwu, Nkanu West Local Government Area of the state, where suspected Fulani herdsmen killed a catholic seminarian and injured 4 persons.
The governor condemned the dastardly act in its entirety. He vowed that those who pepertrated the heinous act will not go unpunished, adding his administration will not tolerate the wanton destruction of lives and property in the state by the herdsmen. The governor stormed the hersdmen settlement inside a thick forest apparently to express his displeasure over the heinous act, only to discover that the herdsmen had fled. The governor prayed for the repose of the seminarian and quick recovery of the survivors.
Meanwhile, in another separate occurrence, a woman who identified herself as
Evelyn Ify Nwobi on social media, survived after the vehicle she was traveling in ploughed into a herd of cattle, killing 7. Fortunately she sustained minor injuries.
These are her words on facebook: "Pls my brethren help me to thank God for His infinite mercy upon my life for saving me from d hands of death Tru accident today, though injuries sustained but grateful to God for the gift of life. 2 herdsmen nd their cows from nowhere entered the middle of d road, our bus on speed bt Nt on high speed now end up hitting nd killing 7 cows Bt none of us died...just minor injuries..if not for God,whr would I have been ND wht would I have become??

WE ARE GRADUALLY CREEPING INTO THE EMBER MONTHS. That is why we are resurrecting these stories once again so that our girls will be more careful. The good book, the Bible was never mincing words when it made the profound statement of fact which a whole lot of people have quoted wrongly, "THE LOVE OF MONEY, is the root of all kinds of evil" Without beating about the bush, looking back SIX MONTHS AGO, somewhere in TANZANIA, this lady was found after 8 good months in a tank where her boyfriend kept her for money ritual.
She was being fed twice in a week through out this period. How she survived this period is only left for God and probably HEALTH SCIENTISTS to explain.

It was this man's maid that noticed that her boss always looked inside one particular tank in his house, out of curiosity the lady (house maid) decided to check the tank after. 8 months and behold she found this dehydrated lady inside the tank and alerted the nigeria police force...
One of the most heart-breaking part of this story is to see what this lady use to be like before her ordeal. CHECK OUT THIS PICTURE. Compare and contrast and make your comments below.
But somehwere in the UNITED STATES, a smiliar case happened. A 34 year old woman in still recovering from a most bizarre scene, one you only hear about in the movies. A Chicago family was grieving the loss of their son, as they said their final goodbye’s at his funeral. Police say it was unlike anything they had ever seen before. Reports say that approximately 15 minutes after the body of the man was laid to rest, the family of the deceased began to hear screams.
“We decided to stay for a bit after the funeral, to let it all sink in. When all of a sudden we heard screams, but we could not figure out where they were coming from,” said one family member who wished to stay anonymous. “We realized it was coming from under the grave where we just laid my brother. We ran and got help.” Police say when firefighters arrived, they received permission from the family to dig up the freshly dug grave. As they did, the screams became louder and louder. When they reached the coffin, they pried it open, to find 34 year old Linda Lynch inside.

Police say it was a twisted plot. The coffin of the man, who was supposed to be buried, was wheeled to the back and his body was quickly removed after the service by the funeral director, Harold Lynch, at Thomas Hite Funeral Home, who had attempted to murder his 34 year old estranged wife.
Lynch had drugged his wife with arsenic and hid her in the funeral home, perfectly timing it with the scheduled burial.  The young man who was scheduled to be buried was found wrapped in a blanket in the funeral home basement.
Lynch’s wife is currently hospitalized in stable condition undergoing an intense detoxification process. Lynch is being held on a $200,000 bond and faces attempted murder charges.

Things you will never believe happening in this world we are in TOGETHER!

How Gay Couple got triplets in AFRICA

Homosexuality is fast-becoming a way of life, in some parts of Africa. Some schools of thought, have wondered why people will want to maintain such a system which negates PROCREATION. But it seems that proponents of the GAY LIFESTYLE have found a way around the issue.

A gay couple have become the first recorded same-sex couple in South Africa to have children born of both parents’ DNA by way of a surrogate mother.  Christo and Theo Menelaou reportedly fertilized a single egg each by way of their surrogate, resulting in the birth of triplets. The Menelaou's triplets also contain a set of identical twins. “When you are gay, there is always the thought that it just may not be possible to be a parent no matter how much you would love to be,” Christo Menelaou told Sky News. “It’s very hard to be accepted for adoption and we were told we would always come after heterosexual couples. But they finally found a SURROGATE. Who is a surrogate? In a lay man's definition, Its simply a woman who is ready to carry a pregnancy for another couple with her being impregnated through INVITRO FERTILIZATION or through other means rather than sex.
One big question still remains, "WHAT ARE THESE TWO MEN GOING TO BE TEACHING THESE CHILDREN ABOUT LIFE and PARENTING? Who will they refer to as their mother?.....Pertinent questions seeking urgent answers. You can put down your comments below

Reasons WHY Boko-Haram's SHEKAU remains the CAT with Nine-Lives

Barely 24 hours ago, the news filtered in that the KING PIN of the terror group popularly known as BOKO HARAM, which has been giving Nigerians sleepless night (especially those in the North- Eastern parts) has been fatally wounded while some media reports stated that he has been killed. But the truth remains that this is not the first or the second time, the news of his death is breaking out. Has he been dying and resurrecting or has the Nigerian Army all this while been killing the wrong person or persons?
SHEKAU was FIRST reported killed in 2009 but reappeared as the group leader less than a year later. The Nigerian army in mid-August 2013 stated that he was fatally wounded when soldiers raided a base of Boko Haram in Sambisa forest and had died between 25 July and 3 August. However, a video in September 2013 was released in which a man purported to be Shekau claimed he had not been killed.
SECONDLY,The Nigerian army also stated to have killed him during the 2014 in an epic battle which is better titled, "THE BATTLE OF KONDUGA that lasted from September 12 to 14th. The Cameroonian military posted a photo and also claimed that their forces killed Shekau in September 2014. In response to these reports, security analyst Ryan Cummings commented, "Is this his fourth or fifth death? He dies more often than an iPhone battery." In early October 2014, a video was obtained by AFP news agency that showed Shekau alive, in which he mocked the Nigerian military's allegations that he had been killed.
Local media have suggested that the man killed by Cameroon was a body double used for security reasons.
According to some local newspapers, the Nigerian government officials say that the original Shekau is long dead, but impostors keep popping up to perpetuate the myth that Shekau is unbeatable. His appearance and name are now a “brand name for the terrorists. … The Nigerian military remains resolute to serve justice to anyone who assumes that designation or title.” There are inconsistencies between videos purportedly made by Shekau, such as his speaking in different cadences and with varying mannerisms. But if you take your time to study some of the major videos the terror group has posted online, you are more likely to discover in some cases he appears much heavier or much darker in skin color, and the posturing is very different between each man.
Shekau was reported to have been "fatally wounded" during an airstrike in Taye village on 19 August 2016 by Nigerian Air Force which also killed some senior leaders of Boko Haram.
Is he really dead this time, or are we still going to witness another resurrection? You can post your comments below.

Three Most Popular Nigerian Actresses STILL SEXY after having Children

The body shape of a woman is one of those major things about her feminity that borders her so much. Generally, women age faster than men. This has led to a whole lot of women being very apprehensive, whenever it comes to the issues of marriage, pregnancy and post-natal activities like breastfeeding. Due to the pressures of having babies, many ladies known for their IRRESISTIBLE sexy bodies, have moved from FIGURE 8 to FIGURE 888.
Nevertheless, the reverse seem to be the case with a few women in the showbiz in Nigeria. Lets take a look at three main personalities who have maintained their adorable feminine physique, even after several pregnancies.
1. Omotola Jalade Ekehinde

Popularly known as Omo-Sexy is the only girl in a family of three. She started acting from the age of 20. Despite having three children and counting, she has proved that having children is not a barrier towards having a great shape. Mind you, she is currently 36+ years.

2. Mercy Johnson
Below is the most current picture of this beauty queen which she released online just few days ago (as at the time of this report)

No matter what she wears in her movie, her shape is always there to display her unique and spectacular femine physique. She is 30+ and has three children presently.

3. Kate Henshaw. You wont believe that Kate Henshaw is gradually creeping into her early fortys but with that her unique baby face and more than two children to her bosom, you will almost mistake her for your chief brides maid, lol.

Latest on the Niger-Delta Avengers

Oil companies and even Nigerian officials are losing faith in a deal anytime soon with militants who have slashed the nation's oil output, casting doubt on a production recovery in what is typically Africa's largest oil exporter.
In the six months since the first major attack on Nigeria's oil – a sophisticated bombing of the subsea Forcados pipeline – dozens of attacks have pushed outages to more than 700,000 barrels per day (bpd), the highest in seven years.
Talk in the country has shifted from ceasefire optimism, and oil companies' assurances that repairs were underway, to hedged comments from the government and radio silence from oil majors.
On Sunday, the Niger Delta Avengers militants, which have claimed several major pipeline attacks, said in a statement they were ready to give dialogue a chance.
But highlighting the fracturing of militants into small groups, the previous day a group called Niger Delta Green Justice Mandate claimed an attack on a gas pipeline in the southern swamps lands.
Without a unified command and groups dominated by "generals" unable to fully control their own fighters, it is difficult for the government to identify the right people to talk to or enforce any ceasefire.
"People are giving up in the short term," one oil industry source told Reuters of a resumption in exports of key Nigerian grades such as Forcados or Qua Iboe, adding you "can't get anything" out of the majors, including Shell (RDSa.L), Chevron (CVX.N), ExxonMobil (XOM.N) or ENI (ENI.MI), about when the oil might come back.
Shell declined to comment, while the other companies did not immediately responded to a request for comment.
In June, Nigerian government officials said privately it had a ceasefire with militants. But pessimism crept in, with even Oil Minister Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu telling journalists this week "we are talking but (it) is not an easy thing," and "we need a ceasefire" – a contrast to the belief that a ceasefire was underway.
He has also said another challenge to brokering a ceasefire is that there were several militant groups to talk to.
The problems reflect deep-seated issues in the Niger Delta, which produces the bulk of oil but whose local communities complain of pollution, a lack of opportunities and what they say is an insufficient share of petro dollars. These problems are compounded by an economic crisis and a government battle with Boko Haram militants in the north.
"This is likely the beginning," Elizabeth Donnelly, deputy head and research fellow of London think-tank Chatham House's Africa Programme said of the unrest, adding that "the resolution that will come will not come quickly."
The government this month resumed cash payments to militant groups that it stopped in February, just before the launch of the worst violence since the payments began under a 2009 amnesty. But attacks continued anyway.
The Delta Avengers claimed the bulk of them, announcing strikes on Twitter even before oil majors themselves knew their remote pipelines had been hit. Twitter shut the group's account, but sources said the Avengers have extensive knowledge of oil sites, and follow the media closely to track companies' actions.
"With the Avengers, you don't want to say 'we'll be back up next Wednesday', because then you'll get a bomb next Tuesday," one oil executive said. "They have to be careful."
But new groups, such as the self-styled Revolution Alliance, which claimed an attack on a Shell-owned oil line, loom, while non-violent local protests have also exacted a toll.
Collings Edema, a local youth leader of the Itsekiri group that has blocked access to Chevron's Escravos tank farm for almost two weeks, said "the oil companies have not shown any sign that they are ready to improve our lives".
Experts warned that as long as people are unhappy, militants and their targets could evolve in unpredictable ways.
"This is also about frustrations of younger people coming up in the Niger Delta and needs not having been addressed," Donnelly said. "This isn't just about militancy, though the political and economic context feeds it."
Adding to the division of the militant scene, the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND), another group which agreed to a ceasefire in 2009, denounced the Avengers due to its "criminal and treasonable activities".
"MEND reiterates its full support for the ongoing military presence in the Niger Delta," it said in a statement, referring to a recent military campaign to hunt down the Avengers.

For more than a decade, Michael Phelps has been in the spotlight for not only his gift of swimming, but also his unfortunate battle with substance abuse. Many are quick to label Phelps — the most decorated Olympic athlete of all time, winning 22 medals — 18 of them gold in swimming — as another “punk” athlete caught in a downward spiral of poor decisions. However, the 31-year-old swimmer recently revealed how he almost committed suicide in September 2014 — but everything changed when God stepped into his life in the most extraordinary way.
Phelps “hit rock bottom” after getting arrested for drunk driving on Sept. 30, 2014 — marking his second DUI arrest within 10 years. Shortly before his arrest, a controversial photo had also emerged showing him smoking an illegal substance. That’s when Phelps’ long-time friend, NFL star Ray Lewis, an outspoken Christian, came to his rescue. Before convincing Phelps to enter rehab, Lewis shared a few wise words with his brother in Christ.Thankfully, Phelps heeded his Christian friend’s advice and entered the rehab facility. However, it was the shocking gift from Lewis that Phelps packed with him that had the most profound impact on him.
When Phelps went to rehab, he entered carrying “The Purpose Driven Life,” by Rick Warren — his gift from Lewis.

The Christian book also convinced Phelps to make amends with his estranged father, Fred, who divorced his wife when Phelps was just 9-years-old. For Phelps, Chapter 20 of “The Purpose Driven Life” weighed heavy on his heart. The chapter begins with 2 Cor. 5:18, which reads:Phelps announced that Rio 2016 will be his fifth and last Olympics — meaning it will be his final chance to give God all the glory in front of the world, and leaving fans wondering what “purpose” he will share with us after.
Michael Phelps’ testimony illustrates the salvation and peace that can only be found in Jesus Christ. When the devil tried to detour Phelps’ Olympic dreams with substance abuse and family problems, God sent him a miracle in the form of a Christian book given to him by his brother in Christ. Phelps’ restored Christian faith empowered him to persevere and reach heights most athletes will never see.

Chibok Girl in LOVE with....

A kidnapped Chibok schoolgirl who was rescued after she was found on the fringes of the vast Sambisa forest has said she misses her Boko Haram militant husband. Amina Ali Darsha Nkeki was one of the 276 Chibok schoolgirls who were kidnapped by the Islamist militants in northeastern Nigeria in April 2014.
About a year after her abduction, Ali was married off and later gave birth to a baby girl, Safiya. She was found with her four-month-old baby and suspected Boko Haram militant Mohammed Hayatu, who claimed to be her husband in May 2016. "I'm not comfortable with the way I'm being kept from him," the 21-year-old told CNN in an interview in Nigeria's capital, Abuja.
Speaking directly to the father of her child, Ali added: "I want you to know that I'm still thinking about you, and just because we are separated doesn't mean I have forgotten about you."
Ali's comments were reported just days after Boko Haram – which has rebranded itself as Iswap – released a video showing some of Kidnapped school girls. Around 50 girls wearing headscarves can be seen behind a Boko Haram militant who calls for the release of fighters in return for the release of the girls.
Ali said that while she had not seen the video, the Islamist militants told their captives that everyone was looking for them. In a message of hope, Ali told her fellow pupils: "I think about them a lot – I would tell them to be hopeful and prayerful." She added: "In the same way God rescued me, he will also rescue them."
The precise whereabouts of the missing girls remains unknown, but they are believed to be in the Sambisa forest. They have reportedly been starved and resorted to eating raw maize in a bid to stave off hunger. Some have died while others suffered injuries, including broken legs.
Ali has been staying in the capital for the past few months in what the government has described as a "restoration process," but she is keen to return to Chibok. "I just want to go home – I don't know about school," she said. "I will decide about school when I get back, but I have no idea when I will be going home."

the pet Dog they called "Buhari" speaks, "Snoopy my cousin MUST HEAR THIS! before I KPEME"

As Nigeria grapples with the new APC led-Government  of PRESIDENT BUHARI and it attendant economic crunch, thinking and talking about pets and pets names should be a very trival issue. But not so in Ogun state as 30-year-old trader has been arrested by the police for naming his pet dog 'Buhari.'

Yes! I just wondered what Americans will think about this...lol! But nevertheless, the trader, Joe Fortemose Chinakwe, of No 10, Omikunle Street, Sango-Ota, Ogun State, was reportedly arrested last weekend, after one of his neighbours of Northern extraction complained bitterly that he named his dog after his father, Alhaji Buhari.
The Vanguard newspaper that reported this issue, learned that the complainant laid the case at Sango Police Station, last Saturday, after which the trader was arrested and detained.
However, it was gathered that efforts by the police to recover the dog, which they intended using as evidence failed following a clever move by the suspect.

The trader, said to be trading in female wears at a popular market in Sango, allegedly directed his friends secretly to kill the dog and possibly eat the meat in order to avoid being implicated. It was gathered that consistent appeals by his friends and relations for the police to grant him bail failed as the complainant and his kinsmen reportedly threatened to kill the trader if he was released on bail.

The case, however, took a different dimension two days later when Chinakwe’s relatives went to Sango police station to further plead for his bail only to be informed that the case file and the suspect have been transferred to Ogun State Police Command headquarters at Eleweran.

A relation to the suspect, who simply identified himself as Chiedozie, told Vanguard that his brother was being persecuted for no just cause and expressed fears that he may either be poisoned inside police cell or thrown into jail.
Chiedozie said: “Chinakwe is a lover of dogs and he names them after things that tickle him. He bought this dog a year ago and named it Buhari.
Unfortunately, some Northerners, who dominate the vicinity where he resides misconstrued his intention and connived to take him up. The complainant then claimed it was derogatory because his father answers Buhari.”
Police sources, however, told Vanguard that the actions of the suspect “were very provocative.”
The source said: “he not only named the dog Buhari but boldly wrote it on the body of both sides of the dog and was seen parading the neighbourhood dominated by Northerners with it.”
As at press time, relations to the suspect were still making frantic efforts to effect his bail while his accusers are insisting that he must be prosecuted.
Police confirms arrest
When contacted around 8pm yesterday, the acting Police spokesman in Ogun State, Abimbola Oyeyemi, ASP, said he was still trying to get the Divisional Police Officer in-charge of Sango for details.
Oyeyemi later called, stating that: “I have made enquiries. The man bought a dog and inscribed Buhari on both sides of its body. One Mallam lodged a complaint and when our men got there, we found out that it was true. You know such thing can cause serious breach of the peace and ethnic or religious unrest. We are charging him to court for conduct likely to cause a breach of peace.”
Continuing, he said: “He was arrested last Saturday and we are taking him to court later today (Tuesday) or tomorrow morning (today). You know an average Northerner will feel bad over such a thing. It can cause serious ethnic crisis or religious confrontation because when you are relegating such a name to a certain person, you are indirectly insulting him.”
When asked about the whereabouts of the dog that will be used as evidence against the suspect, the police spokesman said: “The dog cannot follow anybody except the owner. We will use him as our evidence because he did not deny it.”

How a man chopped off his wife's arms because.......

She has no hands left. Her wrists, swathed in thick bandages, end in stumps. What could lead a man to inflict such a wound on his on wife?
Mwende, of Machakos, 35 miles southeast Nairobi Kenya, is the face of domestic violence in Kenya. Her husband has been charged in an alleged marital assault that shocked the nation. According to Mwende, her husband, Stephen Ngila, 35, attacked her with a machete, slashing her face and hacking off her hands, enraged because she hadn’t produced children in nearly five years of marriage.
“I saw him, and he told me: ‘Today is your last day,’” she says. “I never thought something like this would happen to me.”

Ngila is in police custody, awaiting trial over the attack. Members of his family told Kenyan media recently that Mwende was a woman of loose morals who may have been attacked by a business rival. They claim Ngila wasn’t at home when the attack happened.
Wearing a white hospital gown at Presbyterian Church of East Africa Kikuyu Hospital, Mwende, 27, weeps softly as she tells the story of how she fell in love with Ngila, married him in a white church wedding and watched as the relationship gradually went sour.

Women in many developing countries, including those in East Africa, face social stigma if they don’t produce at least one child, according to the World Health Organization. Although a husband’s infertility may be to blame, it is usually the woman who is stigmatized.
In 2014, Mwende and her husband sought medical advice at a Nairobi hospital on why they hadn’t had children, “and he found out that he had a problem,” she said. “So the doctor advised him to attend the clinic, but he never went. Every time I reminded him to attend the clinic, he would dismiss it. He would say, ‘I will see if I will get time to go,’ then he would never go.”

A sour seed had been planted in the marriage and it grew, Mwende said. “It reached a point that he suddenly changed. He started to get drunk.
“That man never used to bring anything home. He was very brutal. He used to beat me.” At times the couple would call their parents, who would come and try to bring peace to the marriage.
Her impoverished parents advised Mwende to leave Ngila, but she didn’t want to go back home to burden them. She sought advice from her pastor, who advised her to persist and to do her best to save the marriage.
“In most cases, every time there was a problem, I would run to our pastor,” she said. “The pastor would always tell me, ‘Jackie, please persevere. That man will come to change one day.’ The pastor and the church elders would just encourage us.
"I always wanted to protect my marriage so I decided to stay with him,” she said. “I always hoped he would change, but he seemed not to heed the advice from our church pastor."
When the attack happened in late July, neighbors heard screaming and called the police. One neighbor told local media how she witnessed the rooms spattered in blood, with a severed hand on the floor. Mwende’s other hand was almost completely detached and couldn’t be saved.
Mwende’s case sparked national outrage. The local government authority promised a monthly stipend for a year and free transport to the hospital when she needs it for medical care. Several corporate sponsors pledged to help Mwende get access to prosthetic limbs to enable her to live and work independently.
Mwende, grateful for the help, is still recovering from the trauma of the attack.
“He thought he had killed me, but God is great,” she said.
