 The searchlight has been focused lately on Nigeria's present and immediate past first ladies. The rate at which millions of naira and dollars have been
attached to them, leave a whole lot of us in doubt, (IF THESE UPDATES ON THEM ARE TRUE) whether they came to serve Nigerians or milk the treasury dry. It started with the present first lady, Mrs AISHA BUHARI whose pictures went up online concerning her traveling to the U.S with a single hand bag worth a whooping 40million naira sometime last month.

 Finally, the wife of one of Nigeria's most gentle and humble leaders, PRESIDENT MUSA YAR'ADUA (of blessed memory), Hajjia Turai Yar'Adua.

Police in Katsina State has arrested one Yusuf Sarkin Gida, a domestic staff of former Nigerian first lady Turai Yaradua for allegedly stealing 91 million naira from her, this is according to a report by Daily Trust. The State Commissioner of police Usman Abdullahi, who confirmed the development yesterday, said a formal complaint was received before his arrest.
   This leaves one in wonder, if someone like that could lay hold on 91million naira, imagine what is stock-piled. Chai! I still maintain, if all these pieces of information are true, why will somebody not insist on getting a political position in this country even if he/she has to shed innocent blood in other to get it?
