A 57 year old American man, Charles Carlson, has been found dead in his
hotel room, Ellyx Ville hotel, situated in Lekki Phase one, Lagos
Tuesday September 6th. The Nation reports that Carlson's body was
found beside a rope at about 5:30pm.
After his body was discovered, the police at the Maroko division were informed of the incident by the hotel manager, Vincent Onwuke and have evacuated his corpse.
It was gathered that the hotel management became suspicious after the guest did not come down for breakfast on Tuesday neither did he respond to telephone calls to his room and mobile number.
His business partner was contacted and his hotel room forced open only to discover him dead close to the door. It was not clear if the man committed suicide with the rope found beside him. economic recession in the country is really producing a whole lot of negative unusual events in Nigeria. SUICIDE is not a normal thing to Nigerians but the frequency since this year is better imagined. Check out the rest below.

Nobody knows whether this is suicide or mother but
Operatives of Lagos state police command at Ile Epo division is trying
to unravel the cause of death and the perpetrators of a dastardly act
committed against this man simply identified as Tunde who was found hanged
at an uncompleted building on Rasaki Sodande Street, Aboru on Sunday
September 4.
The report of the incident which was received in the early hours of
yesterday stated that the victim might have been
strangled to death and hanged by unknowm assailant(s) at the uncompleted
building. Detectives visited the
scene of crime to take vital clues that will help police in their
investigation. The body has been deposited in a public morgue.
